(By ethnic, I mean anything that's non-American, because I'm an imperialist shallow minded state-sider, of course.) Yet, it's not a 100% rule as far as ethnic food goes. The Mexican restaurant Anna's Taqueria was founded by Japanese entrepreneur Michael Kamio, and offers quite tasty food. That hidden jem of a restaurant may be out there, but you're probably right -- the bad so vastly outnumber the good, it's not worth the effort.
